Deadpool and Wolverine have shown up on just about everything. Action figures, T-shirts, lunch boxes. You name it.
Now they’re showing up in gold and silver.
On October 6, 2026, the Royal Canadian Mint announced three new collectibles featuring the Marvel duo. There’s one gold piece with both characters together and two silver pieces, one for each.
And here’s the best part: both characters have Canadian roots. In the Marvel universe, Deadpool (Wade Wilson) is from Saskatchewan, while Wolverine (James Howlett) was born in Alberta.
Let’s be honest, that’s a pretty good fit for a Canadian coin.
What’s in the Collection
Agoro designed all three pieces and the Royal Canadian Mint is striking them. They’re officially licensed Marvel collectibles, so you won’t find one in your change.
The gold piece has Deadpool and Wolverine side by side. It’s ¼ troy ounce of 99.99% pure gold, and only 1,500 will be made.
The two silver pieces feature one character each. Each is a full troy ounce of 99.99% pure silver, and the mintage is 10,000 per design.
The Silver Pieces

Each silver collectible is 38 mm across and has colour on both sides, which isn’t something you see on every precious metal piece.
The Deadpool piece puts “I Heart Me” front and centre, because of course it does. The Wolverine piece goes the other way with “Who’s Next” and the claws out. Flip either one over, and you’ll find a line of dialogue from the film engraved on the reverse.
And Yes… There’s Gold

If a silver Wolverine sounds fun, the gold piece takes a different approach, bringing both characters together in one collectible.
It’s the first time Deadpool and Wolverine have appeared together on an Agoro gold collectible. The piece is 20 mm across and weighs under 8 grams, with a mirror finish and frosted detail that makes each figure stand out from the gold behind them.
The gold piece has the smallest mintage of the three. Whether that makes it more desirable will depend on collector demand.
Why the Timing Works
Deadpool & Wolverine came out in 2024 and brought the two characters together as co-leads on the big screen for the first time. It was a massive hit, giving the Mint a familiar pairing to bring to gold and silver. Add their Saskatchewan and Alberta connections, and the Mint had a natural story to tell.
A Collectible for Marvel Fans and Coin People
What makes this release fun is that you don’t have to be a serious collector to get it. Maybe you saw the movie and loved every minute. Maybe you’ve been reading the comics for years. Or maybe you’ve been buying gold and silver for a while and want something with a bit more personality than a plain bar.
That’s where a release like this works. It’s not just metal. It’s a character you already love, on something you can hold.
The Ultimate Fan Gift
Looking for something different for a Marvel fan in your life this holiday season?
A silver Deadpool or Wolverine could make a great gift for a movie buff, a comic collector or anyone who’s hard to shop for. It’s also an easy way to get someone new interested in collecting. Sometimes it starts with a coin, and sometimes it starts with a character you already know by heart.
One Thing Worth Knowing
Collectibles like these usually cost more than the gold or silver inside them. That extra is called a premium. It can reflect the design, licensing, production and demand for the piece. If you’re buying because you love the design, the premium may be worth it to you. Just keep in mind that you might not get that extra amount back if you sell.
Each piece arrives in a custom-printed box with a numbered hologram, and the gold piece sits in a clear acrylic frame. If you pick one up, keep the original packaging, handle it carefully and store it somewhere safe. Condition and packaging can matter if you decide to sell it later.
